Courses

Courses builds online training on your website. You assemble a course from videos and documents, add quizzes between sections, and enroll the people who take it: customers, staff, or the public. The platform tracks who finishes and can issue a certificate on completion. A course can be open to anyone or held for people you invite. Some products call this an LMS or eLearning; here it is Courses.
Turn on Courses first
Courses isn't installed by default. An admin turns it on from the Apps page. See Turn apps on and off.
What you can do
- Build a course from your own content. Group videos and documents into sections that learners work through in order.
- Check what learners retained. Add a quiz between sections.
- Decide who gets in. A course is public or invite-only, for customers or for staff.
- Track progress. See who has finished and who is partway through.
- Issue certificates. Award a certificate when a learner completes the course.
Run a course
- Turn on Courses from the Apps page.
- Open Courses and click New. Give the course a title and a short description.
- Add content: upload videos and documents, and group them into sections.
- Add a quiz between sections to test what learners have covered.
- Set enrollment to public or invite-only, and choose whether it's for customers or staff.
- Publish the course, then watch completion and issue certificates as learners finish.
