Events

Events runs your events end to end: set up the event, register attendees, and run the day. Registration creates an attendee record; ticket types group your attendees and cap seats, and can carry a price where you have Sales in your workspace. If you charge for attendance, bill registrants through Invoicing as a separate step. Each event carries its own schedule of confirmation and reminder messages, and lead rules can turn registrations into CRM leads.

What you can do

  • Create events. Dates, venue or online, and a required timezone that controls the times visitors see. One record covers a one-hour talk or a three-day conference. See Create an event.
  • Register attendees. Free RSVP with ticket types: seat caps, open and close windows, and custom registration questions. See Registration & check-in.
  • Confirm and remind. A confirmation goes out on registration, and reminders go out at the offsets you schedule, by email or text. See Reminders & follow-up.
  • Feed your pipeline. Lead rules create a CRM lead per attendee at registration, confirmation, or attendance — you choose. See Reminders & follow-up.
  • Publish an event site. A published event generates its own pages on your website: registration, agenda, sponsors. See Publish your event site.
  • Run the day. A registration desk on a phone or tablet checks attendees in by scan or by name.
  • Report. Registrations against attendance, by event and by ticket type.

Configuration

Most setup lives on the event itself: ticket types, registration questions, and the communications schedule. Event templates carry those settings onto every new event you create from them.

Want a public event page?

The event pages on your website need the website events feature, which is not part of every workspace. An admin activates it from the Apps page — see Turn apps on and off and Publish your event site.
