Point of Sale

Point of Sale

Point of Sale (POS) is the register for selling in person, at a counter, a shop, or a restaurant, with the same products and customers as the rest of your workspace. You ring up orders on a touch screen, take cash or card, and reconcile each register at the end of the shift.

Not seeing Point of Sale?

Point of Sale is not part of every workspace by default. An admin turns it on from the Apps page — see Turn apps on and off.

What you can do

  • Ring up sales. A fast touch screen for products, discounts, and payment. Works on a tablet or computer.
  • Take any payment. Cash, card, or other methods you configure. Supported card terminals: Adyen, Stripe, Viva.com, Razorpay, Mercado Pago, and Pine Labs.
  • Keep stock in sync. Sales draw down Inventory in real time.
  • Run a restaurant. Floor plans, tables, and courses for food service — see Restaurant features.
  • Report. See sales by product, cashier, and session, and reconcile each register at close.

Configuration

Set up a POS configuration for each register: payment methods, the product selection, and any hardware (receipt printer, scanner). Open a session to start selling and close it to reconcile. Set up a register walks through it.
