Contacts

Contacts is the shared address book behind every app. Each person or company is one record, and the apps you use — CRM, invoicing, projects, Mail, and your Calendar — all read and write that same record. Fix a phone number or correct a spelling once, and it is fixed everywhere the contact appears. Contacts is included in every workspace.
What's in a contact
- People and companies. A contact is a person or a company. Link a person to their company so deals and invoices roll up to the right place. Job title lives on the person.
- Tags. Colored tags segment your book, such as Customer, Agency, or Cold Outreach. A contact can carry several, and you can filter any list by tag.
- One phone field. There is a single Phone field, so there is no separate Mobile field to hunt for.
- Addresses, email, and notes round out the record.
Add a contact
- Open Contacts.
- Click New.
- Choose Individual or Company.
- Enter the name, email, phone, and address.
- For a person, set their Company to link them to it.
- Add tags, then save.
One record, shared everywhere
The same contact card powers the rest of the platform:
- CRM deals, quotations, invoices, and project work all point at the contact, so editing it updates every one of them.
- A booking through Appointments finds or creates the contact by email and files the meeting against it.
- Where call recording is enabled, a recording's note lands on the contact's timeline. See Meetings.
- Mail files a conversation against the contact it is with.
Call and text a contact
Where calling is set up for your workspace, call and text buttons appear on the contact, so you reach the person from the record instead of copying the number elsewhere. See Calls & SMS.
AI-agent contacts
A contact that stands in for an AI agent is flagged as one, so a teammate never mistakes it for a person. The flag is set programmatically, through a connected agent, not shown as a field you edit by hand.
