Accounting

Accounting

Accounting keeps your books: customer invoices, vendor bills, journals, taxes, and the core financial entries behind them. It builds on Invoicing — start there to bill, and use Accounting when you need the books behind the invoices.

What you can do

  • Customer invoices & vendor bills. Record what you're owed and what you owe, with taxes and payment terms, posted to the right accounts.
  • Journals & chart of accounts. Keep a chart of accounts and post entries to sales, purchase, bank, and cash journals.
  • Taxes. Configure tax rates and fiscal positions, and see what you've collected and owe.
  • Record payments. Register customer payments and vendor payments, and reconcile them against invoices and bills.
  • Core reports. See your receivables and payables and your general ledger.

Configuration

Set up your chart of accounts, taxes, journals, and fiscal periods in the settings. Define payment terms and your default accounts.

Community-based

EVERJUST is built on the open-source Community edition plus vetted community apps. You get invoicing and core double-entry accounting. Heavily automated features from proprietary editions — live bank-feed synchronization and the advanced financial-reporting suite — aren't part of the included apps. Record bank and cash transactions and reconcile them by hand, or add a community app that fits your workflow.
