Turn apps on and off

Your workspace starts with the apps you picked at signup, and you can add more whenever you need them. A workspace administrator opens Apps, searches for the app, and clicks Activate. The workspace pauses for a moment and reloads, and the new app appears in your apps menu. Every app in the list is included in your license, so activating one never costs extra and never shows an upgrade prompt. You can also turn an app off, which removes it and the data it held.

Who can turn apps on

Only administrators see the Apps page and the Activate button. If you need an app switched on and you are not an administrator, ask whoever set up the workspace. See Make someone an administrator.

Turn on an app

  1. Open the app menu and choose Apps.
  2. Search for the app by name.
  3. On the app's card, click Activate.
  4. Wait a moment. Your workspace reloads, and the new app appears in your apps menu — open it from there.

Activation takes a few seconds and reloads the whole workspace, so pick a quiet moment if other people are working. Once it reloads, the app appears in the app menu for everyone you grant access to.

Administrators get new apps automatically

When you activate an app, anyone with the Administrator role can use it right away, with no new permissions to set. Other users get access when you grant it on their record. See Invite your team.

Every app is included

The Apps list is curated for your workspace. You see the apps your plan covers, and nothing that asks you to buy or upgrade. There are no paid add-ons and no per-app fees: one license covers every app. See Pricing & billing.

What you start with

New workspaces arrive with a set of apps already on, matched to the industry and goals you shared when you signed up. You do not activate those yourself. Turning on more apps from the Apps page extends that starting set. See Create your workspace.

Turn an app off

Turning an app off uninstalls it and deletes the data it stored. Export anything you want to keep first.

  1. Open Apps and find the active app.
  2. On the app's card, choose Uninstall.
  3. Confirm.

Uninstalling removes data

Uninstalling an app deletes its records from your workspace, and the Apps page cannot undo it. Export what you need before you uninstall.
