Calendar

Calendar is your team's shared schedule, included in every workspace. You create events, invite people, and see each person's answer on the event. Other apps write to it too: a booking made through Appointments lands on the assigned staff member's calendar, and an event can carry a video room you join in the browser through Meetings. Switch between day, week, and month views to see one person's day or the whole team's week.
Create an event and invite people
- Open Calendar.
- Click a time slot, or click New.
- Name the event and set the start and end time, or mark it all-day.
- Add attendees to invite them.
- Add a location and a description if the event needs them.
- Save.
Each attendee's answer shows on the event: accepted, declined, maybe, or no answer yet. Set a reminder on the event to be notified before it starts, and set a repeat schedule for recurring events like a weekly team meeting.
Keep double-booking out
An event blocks that time on your calendar. The Appointments app checks those blocks before offering a time to a customer: if you have a conflicting event, the slot is not offered. That includes events you created by hand, so blocking out personal time on your calendar also blocks public bookings.
What other apps put on your calendar
- Appointments. A confirmed booking creates a calendar event with the customer and the assigned staff member as attendees. Cancelling the booking removes the event. See Take and manage bookings.
- Meetings. An event can carry a video room; the call itself is the built-in call from Chat, held in the browser, and a meeting can be flagged for recording where recording is enabled. See Meetings.
- CRM. A meeting you schedule from a deal is booked through Calendar, so it shows on your schedule and on the deal. See CRM.
Sync with Google Calendar
Where Google Calendar sync is enabled for your workspace, each person connects their own Google account.
- Open Calendar.
- Click Sync with Google and authorize your Google account.
A synced calendar is two-way
Once connected, changes flow in both directions. Creating, moving, or deleting a synced event here changes your real Google calendar, and deletes propagate both ways. Connect only an account whose calendar you intend to manage from your workspace.
Let customers book a time
Calendar itself has no public booking page. To publish your availability and let customers pick a slot, use Appointments — bookings made there land on your calendar automatically.
