Restaurant features

EVERJUST Point of Sale runs table service as well as counter sales. The Restaurant app adds a floor plan, orders tied to tables, courses you fire to the kitchen, and bill splitting on top of your register.

Turn on restaurant mode

Restaurant is its own app that sits on top of Point of Sale. An admin enables it:

  1. Open Apps from the app menu.
  2. Find Restaurant and click Activate.
  3. On your register's Point of Sale settings, turn on the restaurant option so that register opens with the floor plan.

Lay out your floor

Build a floor plan that matches your space. Add a floor for each area, such as the patio or the main room. Place tables on the floor and set how many seats each one holds. Staff tap a table on the plan to open or return to its order.

Take and serve orders

Send an order to a table and keep it open while guests dine. Add items as the meal goes on, and the order stays tied to that table until you settle the bill. If the party moves, transfer the order to their new table.

Group items into courses so the kitchen serves them in the right order:

  1. Add items to the order.
  2. Assign each item to a course, such as starters or mains.
  3. Fire each course when the table is ready for it.

Settle the bill

When guests are ready to pay, split the bill so each guest pays for their own items, or settle it in one payment. Then take payment and close the table. The table frees up on the floor plan for the next party.
