Create an event

An event holds your dates, your location, and your schedule in one place. Set it up, fill in the agenda, and publish a page people can visit.

Set dates and location

Open Events and create a new event. Give it a name, then set the start and end dates and times.

  1. Choose the format: in person at a venue, or online.
  2. For an in-person event, enter the address so attendees can find it.
  3. For an online event, add the join link or stream details.
  4. Set a timezone so times show correctly to visitors.

The event runs from its start to its end. You can hold a one-hour talk or a three-day conference under the same record.

Build a schedule of tracks

A track is a single talk, session, or slot. Add tracks to lay out the agenda.

  1. Open the event and add a track for each session.
  2. Set each track's time, length, and speaker.
  3. Group tracks into a room or stage if you run parallel sessions.

The tracks combine into a schedule that attendees read before and during the event.

Publish an event page

Each event has a public page with its details, schedule, and a way to register. Add a description and an image, then publish. Share the link, and visitors see the agenda and sign up from there.
