Share files

A file is only useful when the right person has it. Documents lets you share inside the team, send a link to outside people, and keep files attached to the work they belong to.

Share internally

Share a file or a whole folder with your teammates. Open the file, choose who gets access, and set whether they can view or edit. The file shows up for them in Documents with the access you granted.

Send a file to someone outside the company with a portal link. Generate the link from the file or folder, then send it. The recipient opens the link in a browser and sees only what you shared, without an account in your workspace.

Attach to a record

Attach a file to the record it belongs to. Drop a contract onto the deal, or an invoice onto the order, and the file lives in that record's chatter. Anyone working the record finds the file without searching.

Download a folder

Download a whole folder as a single ZIP. Open the folder, choose download, and you get one archive with every file inside. Use it to hand off a project or keep a backup.
