Talk where the work is

Conversation does not have to live apart from your data. Every record carries its own chatter, so the discussion stays next to the work.

The chatter

A deal, an invoice, a task: each one has a chatter at the bottom of its form. The chatter holds messages, notes, and a history of what happened to the record.

Follow a record to get notified when it changes. Click Follow on the record, and updates land in your inbox. Stop following when you no longer need the updates.

Notes and activities

Log an internal note to leave context for your team. A note stays inside the company and is never sent to the customer.

Schedule an activity to set yourself or a teammate a next step. Pick a type, a due date, and an owner. The activity shows on the record and in the assignee's to-do list until it is done.

Calls from a channel

Start a voice or video call straight from a channel. Click the call icon in the channel header, and the others see a prompt to join. Use it when a message thread needs a quick conversation instead.
