Products & prices

One product catalog feeds quotations, orders, and invoices across EVERJUST Sales. You set up each product once, and every app reads the same data.

Set up a product

  1. Open the Products menu in Sales and click New.
  2. Set the unit of measure, such as units, hours, or kilograms.
  3. Pick the taxes that apply when you sell it. To define the tax rates themselves, see Taxes.
  4. Enter the cost. With the Margins setting switched on in Sales settings, cost feeds margin reporting on your orders.

Set these once and they flow into every quotation line automatically.

Sell one product in several forms

Use variants when one product comes in several forms, such as a shirt in three sizes and two colors. Variants share a parent product but carry their own code and price difference.

Note

Variants are off until you switch on Variants in Sales settings.

Price for different customers

A pricelist sets the prices a group of customers pays. Switch on Pricelists in Sales settings, then build more than one to handle different cases:

  • A wholesale list with lower prices for resellers.
  • A list in another currency for customers abroad.
  • A list with volume rules that drop the price at higher quantities.

Assign a pricelist to a customer or apply it on a quotation. The lines reprice to match the list you choose.
