Build & send a campaign
A campaign is one email to one audience. Design it, choose who gets it, and send now or later.
Design the email
Open Email Marketing and create a mailing. Set the subject line, then build the body.
- Start from a template, or start blank.
- Drag blocks onto the canvas: text, images, buttons, columns.
- Edit any block in place and set your colors and fonts.
- Send yourself a test before you commit.
The drag-and-drop editor produces a responsive email, so it reads on phones as well as desktops.
Pick your recipients
Choose where the email goes. Point it at a full mailing list, or apply a filter to send only to a slice of your contacts.
Filtered sends use the same fields you store on a record: city, tag, language, deal stage. Save a filter once and reuse it across campaigns. See Mailing lists & contacts for how to build and segment audiences.
Send now or schedule
When the email is ready, send it. To time it, set a date and hour and the campaign goes out then. Scheduled mailings sit in the queue until their send time.
A note on deliverability
Whether your email reaches the inbox depends on your sending domain's DNS. Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your domain so mailbox providers trust your mail. See Email setup.
