Tasks & stages

Projects in EVERJUST hold the work your team delivers. Each project is a board of tasks you move from start to done.

Create projects and tasks

  1. Open Projects and click New to create a project. Give it a name.
  2. Inside the project, click New to add a task. Type a title and press Enter.
  3. Open a task to add a description, attachments, and chatter notes.

Tasks group under a project. You can run several projects side by side, each with its own board.

Move tasks across stages

Each project board uses kanban stages such as New, In Progress, and Done. Drag a task card from one stage to the next as the work advances. Click the gear on a stage to rename it, add a stage, or set its order. The board shows you where every task sits at a glance.

Assignees, deadlines, priorities

Open a task and pick one or more assignees. Set a deadline so the task shows its due date on the board. Click the star to mark a task high priority and pull it to the top.

Sub-tasks and dependencies

Break a large task into sub-tasks from the Sub-tasks tab. Each sub-task gets its own assignee and deadline. Use task dependencies to set order: mark one task as blocked by another so the second cannot start until the first finishes.
