Connect CRM to your site, chat & phone

Your pipeline fills from channels you already run. The website contact form, live chat, and event registrations come included with CRM, campaign links carry their attribution, and a connected phone setup logs calls onto your leads. This page wires up each channel.

Channel What happens
Website contact form Each submission creates a record in your pipeline, marked as a website lead
Live chat An operator turns a conversation into a lead with the /lead command
Event registrations Lead generation rules create leads, one per attendee or per group
Email campaigns A click-through lead carries the campaign, source, and medium
Phone Calls log onto the matching lead; each lead gets a call button

Capture leads from your website form

The contact form on your website is already connected: each submission creates a record in CRM, stamped as coming from your website. To check the wiring:

  1. Publish your contact page.
  2. Submit the form as a logged-out visitor — that is who your real visitors are.
  3. Open the pipeline and find the new record with your test details.

Only the standard contact fields (name, company, email, phone, subject, message) are written to the record; any extra question you add to the form lands in the lead's internal notes. Routing — which team and salesperson get website leads — is set in your website settings. See Forms & lead capture.

Turn a live chat into a lead

A promising Live Chat conversation becomes a lead without leaving the chat:

  1. In the conversation, type /lead followed by a title, for example /lead Quote for 40 units.
  2. Press Enter. A confirmation with a link to the new lead appears — the visitor does not see it.
  3. Open the lead. It links back to the conversation, so sales can read the full exchange.

Create leads from event registrations

Registrations in Events generate leads through rules:

  1. In the Events app, open Lead Generation under Configuration and create a rule.
  2. Pick when it fires: when a registration is created, confirmed, or attended.
  3. Pick one lead per attendee or one per group of registrations, and limit the rule to specific events or event categories if you want.
  4. Set the sales team and salesperson the leads go to.

Leads land in the pipeline with the registration details attached.

See which campaign brought a lead

Links in an Email Marketing campaign carry their attribution. When a recipient clicks through and submits your form, the lead records the campaign, source, and medium. Group the pipeline or any report by campaign to see which sends produce deals — see Forecast & analyze.

Log calls against your leads

Calling is set up per workspace

An administrator connects your phone provider first — see Set up calling.

Once calling is connected:

  1. Open a lead and click its call button to dial the contact.
  2. Take the call; when it ends, it logs on the lead's timeline on its own.
  3. When a call comes in, the caller's record opens, preferring their open lead, so you know who is calling before you answer. A missed call creates a follow-up activity on the lead.

Calls never create leads by themselves; they attach to the contact and lead you already have. To capture a caller who is not in CRM yet, create the lead by hand — see Capture leads.

Capture leads from email

Email capture is a guided setup

Mail sent to a team address can become a lead for that team. This runs on top of your connected mail domain and we switch it on per workspace — ask us to enable it.
